“To me, Van Gogh is the finest painter of them all. Certainly the most popular, great painter of all time. The most beloved, his command of colour most magnificent. He transformed life into ecstatic beauty.
Pain is easy to portray, but use your passion and pain to portray the ecstasy and joy and magnificent of our world, no one had ever done it before. Perhaps no one ever will again.
To my mind, that strange, wild mind who roamed the field of Provence was not only the world’s greatest artist, but also one of the greatest men who ever lived.” - The Curator.
-from the episode of Doctor Who “Vincent and The Doctor”-
“So, is my glass half-empty, or is it half-full?
When you look ahead in your life, are you someone that expects things to work out for the best, or do you assume the worst? When we envision the future, our rostral anterior cingulate cortex determines whether our vision will be one of clear-blue skies or dark storm clouds.
But optimism and pessimism are not hardwired.
By using cognitive behavioral techniques, we can overcome our natural tendency toward doom and gloom.
So, what do we want to do?
Do we want to dwell on the mistakes of the past, pick at the scabs of every wound?
Or can we make a fresh start, be grateful for what we have, cherish our relationships?
Our lives are richer when we choose optimism. And if we do, we might just see that our glass is a little more full than we thought.” - Dr. Daniel Pierce

Helloooooo there! So, I finally went to Japan! YEAAAHH~! I went there with my mom and my brother, and my brother’s friend with her mom too.
*WARNING* This is going to be a looooong post! Sorry and thank you~

The first day I arrived to Tokyo and to Tokyo Tower, Hachiko Statue, Fujiko F. Fujio Museum, and Sensouji Temple. Tokyo looks really really great! So clean, beautiful, and fantastic! We even went to places that I don’t even remember where or what.

And the food! The food was delicious!! Love it so much!
Then on the 5th day I went to Kyoto visiting Arashiyama, Kyoto International Manga Museum and Yasaka Shrine. At Kyoto International Manga Museum I could get a portrait of myself in anime style and turned up to be great!

And the last two days I went to Osaka. I finally had the experience to ride on Shinkansen. At Osaka I went to Universal Studio but specifictly The Wizarding World of Harry Potter. Everything was expensive! But, oh well..

The last day in japan was pretty good, cause I finally had alone time.

Most of the experiences were excellent. But I was mad because I can’t get to go to Ghibli Studio. My brother’s friends was supposed to be the tour guide and promise me to take me to Ghibli Museum and she didn’t because she don’t know that the ticket will be sold out. Well, I mean, if you want to be a good tour guide at least be a damn good one. Because I might not be able to go to Japan for a second time.
So, that’s all! Bye!

OMG, I abandoned this blog too much long! I was too busy and too lazy at the same time, lol.
Okay, so, I was went to Iwan Tirta Fashion Show 2015 at Fairmont Hotel, Jakarta. As the collection… it went pretty good. BUT, the services when I registered wasn’t so good. Bad actually. But, enough about that.
So this time the collection theme was “Dewaraja”

“Dewaraja” celebrates Iwan Tirta’s singular way of thinking and contributions in preserving the heritage of batik. For this collection, creative director Era Soekamto looks outside the mainstream batik motifs that we often see and instead takes inspiration from the ancient motifs, which focus on the documentation of the history of Nusantaras as meticulously done by the maestro.
Named after the sacred concept of a king who achieved a god-like spiritual state-of-mind, this collection is divided into three sequences that portray such journey; Dualism – Samsara Nirvana, Reflection – Siwaratri Kalpa and Light upon light - Antahkarana. Through each batik motif, “Dewaraja” reflects Iwan Tirta’s deep-rooted appreciation of the golden age of Nusantara and makes this legacy relevant for the modern times.
